Tony’s Auto LLC wants every customer to be able to browse our inventory, whatever device or assistive technology they use.

What we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1, Level AA. These are the guidelines commonly used to judge whether a website is accessible.

What we have done

• Every text and background combination on the site is tested to meet the required contrast ratio
• The whole site, including the inventory filters, can be operated with a keyboard alone
• Form fields have labels, and the focus outline is always visible
• Vehicle photographs carry text descriptions
• Filtering results are announced to screen readers as they change
• The site works without JavaScript, including vehicle search

Where we fall short

We would rather name our gaps than claim we have none.

• Photo descriptions currently give the year, make and model. They do not describe colour, condition or what is visible in the picture.
• A few vehicles have no photograph yet and are shown as photo pending.
• The Google map on our contact page is a third-party embed, and we do not control its accessibility. The address and directions link next to it do not depend on the map.
